We’re going on a Book Hunt!
Join us this week for Great Elmbridge Book Hunt! From Mon 30 May-Fri 3 June.
Follow the clues to hunt down one of the 100 books hidden around Elmbridge for you to read and enjoy.
This half term, Walton Charity is launching the Great Elmbridge Book Hunt competition, giving local primary school kids the chance to win one of 100 books hidden around the borough.
Each day, 20 books will be hidden in a different town across Elmbridge, all you need to do is find one! Follow @YourWaltonCharity on Facebook to discover the locations the books have been hidden and to receive hints and clues on where to look to find a book!
Plus, all 100 lucky book hunters can enter our draw through Facebook for their chance of winning a massive £200 of books for their school!*
We believe that books are a great way to learn about the world around us and make sense of issues and challenges that can affect us all. For our book hunt, we have chosen 100 well-loved titles suitable for children aged 4 to 11 years that tackle important themes linked to our five key priorities.
*To enter the £200 school book draw, please post a picture of your book find on our Facebook page @YourWaltonCharity. Full instructions can be found inside your hidden book. Only state schools within Elmbridge are eligible to win £200 worth of books.
A big thank you to local estate agents, James Neave, for sponsoring the competition.
